Guess what. I just bought an SLR.
*Jumps up and down with delirious joy*
Not.
Haha.
I didn't buy it really.
I haven't even posses the right amount of money to buy such things.
Also, it's an old model.
Oh. Neither did I shop lifted this SLR from a random camera store.
It's my Dad's.
Was.
Haha.
Actually, he used to have a photography obsession when he was younger, but it was somehow diminishing throughout the years.
Apparently, I just knew he had it today!
How? When my family and I were at my cousin's house, suddenly our topic diverted into cameras.
Suddenly Dad spoke.
He seemed to know his way around cameras, recommending which brand was the best for SLRs.
I was utterly shocked of course, because he was the last person I knew who would have obsession on such things.
Because our family hadn't got any habit of having cameras, even the non-professional ones, because dad said that he doesn't like wasting money on those,
Even, kept denying me not to buy a DSLR,
but... somehow,
He was talking about cameras?
Then, on our way back home, I was asking mum to buy me a DSLR,
since mum was planning to change from black to a red plate for the car.
Then dad asked, I have an SLR.
"Why didn't you show me before!?" I riposted.
However, it was spoilt.
The mirror inside the camera has a crack, but doesn't matter.
That crack can be there in the photos for artistic purposes.
Still can be used though. :D
Although, my dad happen to give a workable SLR which is older than me,
I'm still planning to buy an DSLR.
So... yeah.
I'm happy, hope you're happy too.
I'm living in a cloud cuckoo land.
Taggie.
