My parents should be in Johore at today. Too bad, dad had to work this time, so poor mum was stucked in Singapore. Hehehehe...
Since there was no trace of food in the house, mum and I decided to head to Tampines Mall to have a bite...
And I bought a new watch! YAY! :D I bought a Swatch watch... 007 villain edition. Awesome, I shall say... There were different designs of watches for each Bond movie. My favourite was the watch for Goldfinger played by Sean Connery. Obviously the whole watch was in gold... Well, which tells alot of the villain from that movie... who had gold (I suppose plated. Hehe) set of teeth! Rich bastard. And he doesn't use his teeth to show off, instead he uses it to bite cable wires! Watch the movie if you have no idea what the heck I'm jabbering about. Ooops. A mistake. It appears that the guy with the metal teeth is from The Spy who Loved Me. I just remembered. And the Goldfinger villain is the Japanese kick arse who throws his hat that beheads someone's head, almost instantly. Hara-kiri, the hat version way. Japanese... A lil' bit cheesy, aye?
But, of course I didn't buy that... It was too expensive. I wanted to buy Live and Let Die played by Roger Moore. The watch had some skeleton on it, which was obviously the villain of the movie. Weird. What kind of villain dresses up as a skeleton and terrorises the whole wretched world?
Honestly, the reason for me to purchase the Live and Let Die watch was not because I liked the movie. I never watch Roger Moore's Bond movies because he's not my favourite Bond in the first place. The reason was... I love the Live and Let Die song. It's the best Bond song ever! :D
Unfortunately, mum told me not to purchase it because it was black. So, my second choice was Tomorrow Never Dies played by Pierce Brosnan. It'd been ages since the last time I saw the flick. But, Pierce Brosnan isn't my favourite Bond. My favourite is no other than... SEAN CONNERY! YAY! But the watches for the movies which Sir Sean played in were expensive! GAY! Nevermind. Here are the pictures of the watch anyway! :D
PS. This is my second Swatch watch... I looove Swatch watches. Gonna start collecting some. Tehee.
And yeah!!! Before I sign off... Since I'm typing about Bond this and Bond that... There is this kick-arse video narrated by Alan Partridge played by Steve Coogan for the opening scene for The Spy who Loved Me.
Try watching this British comedy show called I'm Alan Partridge. I'm sure that your lungs would burst like a pair of hand grenades.
I'm living in a cloud cuckoo land.
Taggie.
